redneck,,CHANGING FONTS AND SIZE IN POSTS

MORNING REDNECK,,Don, i hope it is okay to post this here,,someone had a question how to do this so i figured it belonged here??? THE QUESTION WAS: "How do you change in a post, the font size and color?" This is very simple,,nothing fancy, all you have to do is look above this box that you are replying in and you will see the letter B in Bold like this : B all you have to do is HIGHLIGHT THE WORD that you would like to change than click it,,,like this REDNECK TO ADD COLOR,,GO BACK and HIGHLIGHT AND CLICK the selected color like this: REDNECK NOW i used the thing that says, "font" hit the little arrow to the right in that font box,,scroll down choose the one ya want,,than click it,,same for color or font size,,heres a font size for ya: REDNECKit will not work if you do not highlight it,,YOU MUST ALWAYS HIGHLIGHT!! I think this sums it up,,let me know if it helped ya out?

okay i saw my own post,,and said hummm, not good enough let try it this way

for fonts,,,YOU MUST HIGHLIGHT THE WORD,,go to font box above the reply box,,hit arrow to right than scroll down and choose the one you want..

for color,,,MUST HIGHLIGHT THE WORD,,go to THE BLUE CAPITAL A hit the arrow to the right of it,,and scroll down and choose color

for sizes,,MUST HIGHLIGHT WORD,,go to sizes box, hit arrow on right of it and choose size,,

for anything else REPEAT PROCESS,,AND SO ON..not sure what the other stuff does yet,,one is to center your work,,one is to right align it,,and the list goes on,,

okay thats it,,now do ya see the box that says fonts,,or sizes,,or a big bold blue letter A,,thats were ya go to change everything..look for the little arrow to the right of the word fonts? thats how ya click into and scroll down to find a font,,.try a test run,,use this thread if ya want,,im not sure what that double slash blue A is at the beginning of the tool bar ? but i think ya found it!!

ok, to try to clarify things a little I have pointed out the various tools and what they do using the "quick reply" box that is at the bottom of each thread as an example.
these tools are also available on the "advanced" reply as well as a few others.
if any further clarification is needed, just ask.

the "remove text formatting" takes out any changes that you may have made - reverts it back to the default settings - but again - you would need to highlight first, then hit that button.

X -you are welcome, but didnt get all that fancy - took me less than 10 mins to do that and have always felt pictures can speak volumes when trying to explain something. You were doing a great job trying to explain it thru words only, but that can be tough to do - the picture just makes it a little clearer.
thats why we all love those "step-by-step" painting threads!!

heartless,,i agree pictures are better,,HEY i just checked out your etched glass,,WOW AMAZING WORK,,DID ya see it redneck,,thats some cool stuff there! really crisp designs,,REDNECK, im lost too,,all i ever use was those 3 things i showed ya,the rest im clueless about,,i dont do fancy stuff like that i just hit delete and start over,,lol,,i should learn thou, im far behind!

thats a good idea redneck,,new styles on hunting guns,,HUMM i think ya got a winner there,,get a wood burner,,o wait guns are metal not wood,,i dont know im not really a fan of guns,,but it sounds like a cool idea to see! im sure hunters would go crazy for that stuff,,

thanks Nat but engraving guns is not new, people collect guns like other type of art, the show guns is the main guns that is engraved, some guns will cost as much as a new car after they are engraved ,wood burning the wood stock could pay -off if you will try it,I sure that some hunters might be interest

oh yeah - gun engraving has been around pretty much since the invention of guns - some have very elaborate designs.

thanks for the props on my artwork Nat. it can be almost as much fun as airbrushing!

Ray - sometimes we all need to be led by the hand sometimes when someone is trying to describe something to me (usually the other half! lol) i just cant seem to visualize it with out either seeing it, or seeing some sort of picture. other times it can be crystal clear...
