Custom avatar

I seem to be haveing problems loading my custom avatar. The properties on the file says that it has the right amount of pixiels but I get a window that says,File too large. Still get get one to load.Any help would be appreciated

I make sure my pic is resized to as close to 200 x 200 as I can get so nobody has to squint to see it lol, then it should load ...

mine also says not bigger than 50x50

all avarts are set to be no bigger than 140 by 190 the size of Kimmo's

Make sure that photos are set to 72 DPI as this is the standard for web use. Many photos that you take and put on the hard drive have much higher resolution which is lost on the internet. This means that they sacrifice size because of the kilobytes needed for the high res.
