Can't see featured photos

AT the top of the page are featured photos but I can't see them, all is see is that little red square that usually means there's a .jpg missing. Is it me, or is it something else?

dont know but i just went and looked and I can see them it might be your computer. i dont know though good luck

Its the security or Internet Setting on your computer some where on here is a couple threads of folks who adjusted theirs and than it worked fine.


AOL Veiwing images on AOL --- AOL has a graphics option that is automatically turned on when you installed AOL . The option is supposed to make graphics load faster when viewing a website, but doesn't help enough to make that much of a difference. There is an easy way to fix this. Go to your preferences (under 'My AOL' with AOL 4.0, and 'Members' with AOL 3.0 ). Click on WWW. Internet Option's Choose the graphics tab. You will see a small box with a check in it, asking if you want to use compressed graphics. UNCHECK that box, and never ever enable it again! On AOL 8.0 go to Settings - Preference's - Font , Text & Graphic's and than Graphic's Preference -- you will see " max disk space to use for on-line art " you might want to set this to the highest setting of 100 megabyte . Also, if you ever have to reinstall AOL, or upgrade to a higher version, you will need to uncheck it again. Do it right away.

I was having the same problem,... now I just turn off my Zone Alarm when I come in,... turn it back on when I leave.

I'm using Norton Antivirus 2003 and Norton Personal Firewall. I had to look to see if I still had Zone Alarm, I didn't. Any help will be appreciated.

ok....this is what worked for me........

open Norton Internet Security...
click on...options (at the top)..then internet security
click on...web content....

You will see a list of sites on the left hand side...if www.airbrushtechnique.com is not there you can add it, using add site at the bottom.......
once you have it in your list select it.....
Now on your right hand side under global settings....there should be a box for 'information about visited sites'
uncheck default settings, and check permit instead......
Now this works for me and I know someone else had the same solution work for them.....

Thanks Sue, that worked. I made the changes in Norton Firewall as I don't have Norton Security. I'm tempted to start a Mac vs Windows rant here but I'll have another coffee instead. Thanks again.
