Question Schmincke aeroColor

Hi,

Is there anyone who is a bit experienced with the Schmincke AeroColor paint?
I use this waterbased paint to draw on paper, but i'm not conviced of the quality of the paint.
Especialy the white paint is difficult to spray!
I got this brand with some startes package (including an airbrush, compressor and paint)
In mean while I discoverd that the airbrush and compressor are no good quality, so this makes me doubting about the paint also.

Any comment about this brand of paint would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Greetz,
Sandy

Welcome Sandy!
Sorry Im not familiar with those paints.
Most all whites are hard to spray [in my opinion only]
If you reduce to consistancy of milk it will be very helpful.

Createx /Auto AIR has a reducer [4011] found at
Auto Air Base Coats, Reducers, Extenders
It helps far better to add it rather than water for reduction.
I suggest to order some and work some test pieces...
I havent found a waterbourne paint yet that the 4011 is not caompatable with, [as I said not used the one you mentioned]

and if you are going to be using waterbourne fulltime you will need the 4011 anyways...

Sorry couldnt help ya more than that .....

hello, you actually have a very high quality paint a true artist grade paint. white is always difficult to spray. make sure you mix the paint good and i would recommend liquidtex airbrush medium to thin.
