Spar max mini compressor

I'm just looking for some input on these little compressors. I've had mine for a couple years but I usually only use it for "one off" jobs where I have to travel and need a silent compressor. I've run it for about 2 hours straight before it overheated and I had to give it a rest (automatic shut off). Since then I usually give it a 15 minute rest every hour or so.
The thing is, I'm at my temp studio on the island and my Campbell Hausfeld industrial has bit the dust (cheap Canadian Tire crap). So I'm using my little spar max full time for now..... all day with short breaks.
Has anyone used these things extensively?
I like the little thing and dont want to kill it..... How much use can I expect to get out of it?
Its pretty good quality... cost around $300 from Loomis.
Thanks

Yeah I've considered that but I haven't done it yet. I will give that a try. I guess I can assume that these things are designed to be used a lot without breaking down. I left my instruction book in Vancouver.
I suppose there's only one way to find out how much work the thing can handle.

Thanks for replying Nomad, it's kind of a coincidence because I made this thread a while ago but I was using my Sparmax today for temp tattoos (I've been using it quite a bit lately) and it started acting grumpy. I checked the filter and it was clogged so I flipped it around and repositioned it but then I realized there was nothing on the other side where a filter should be so I checked my old pic on this thread and there was nothing there then either except two holes.

My question is, did yours have a filter there? in the pic on the box there's a screen of some sort there...... I wonder how important this part is.
