Kimmo, your wild life paintings are incredible. If you are considering doing a video for the contest,... or just for the fun of it,... I would love to watch you do one like this to see your fur technque.
The kid is going to love it,... lol,... I'd love it!

WOW! Seems like you just had that 5 week vacation the other week... it has been a year already.. this is kind of scary.. they feel to be about 3 months long now.. A YEAR that is.. Wish they would slow down a bit..
May your 5 weeks move at a snails pace, and if you have time to chat at some point during your vacation, drop me an email and i'll jump in the room. Not much going on at work so just sittin in front of the computer all day..

Actually Kimmo most digital cameras will now shoot pretty good video if you put a decent memory card in them.

Hi Kicks
yes ,but mine is 6-7 years old an olympus C-2100 UZ(ultrazoom)
can't get larger card than 64mb to it,
went to a store to look at some video cameras,
(while waiting for help i told wife that i'll say i that iam thinking of doing home porn videos ,,,IF YOU SAY THAT I'LL RUN OUT OF THE SHOP , WHEN YOU COME OUT I WILL PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE,,,,she said,he,he
that was fun,,gotta tease them sometimes)
i said to the clerk
that i was thinking of doing some instructionall videos in automotive painting
so he showed me some video cameras, there was a bunch good videocameras now i have to think it through.
i'll see what it will be.

Hi Kimmo
I understand you very well, i have a digital camera (One of the first when they arrived on the market), bought to do films about the kids and save important pieces of life of the familly. As most of the people, we do many films at the beginning, many, many,. I spent many night to put them on DVD and finally, we NEVER watch them. Most of the people who do films of their vavations , travel .... never watch them. Whatever, the DVD are dones and kids will have some DVD to carry all their life when we will be dead... But there is a large chance that they don't watch them more than we do
My digital camera slept in a box for at least 5 years until i try to do an airbrush video, i have one so i keep it, this Sony camera can't even get me back some money if i sell it on ebay.
If you just want to do airbrush video , you should think about buy secondhand cheap one on ebay, it's greatly enough to do few videos, unless you want to open a private video shop.
Just be sure you can publish your film in DVD format.

Pat

Kimmo, i've think about something else.
Because of everybody try to save money in this hard time , we have a new online service here in France where you can rent everything you need (like Ebay but not for sell but only for rent : only individuals and not professional renters). I know there is a lot of kind of this services witch are opening eveywhere in the world. Maybe you have it in sweden .
For exemple , i've check the french web site and you can rent a digital video camera for 30 euros a week.
