May/June 08 Contest comments
This contest is open to anyone who is a registered member of the forum. (Including past recent winners)
Any Surface, Any Subject!!!
If there are more than (20) entries there will be a prize for 1st and 2nd place.
Prizes will be NEW AIRBRUSHES
One entry per artist, you can eliminate and replace your entry (only one counts)
This contest starts May 1st, and ends June 30th, with a week following for voting.
All entries MUST include at least 4 progress pics included with the final painting
All entries MUST be NEW WORK started after the start of this contest

Just got my new canvas the other day! Gonna Be a Doosey and take several weeks. Will have all the WIP pics in the Automotive Art section as soon as I get started later this week. Gonna Be fun!

BTW........
Really like the idea of a 2 month long contest.....allows more people to get involved and for more extensive work. Think for the 2 month contests, there should always be a 1st and 2nd place winner since there is only half as many contests per year. Just my 2 cents! Let's get those entries up!

What a way to come out fighting!
Kimmo, black might not have been your ideal base to start with but brother that has to be one of the best ever images of a rose I have ever seen.
Pat, what can I say brother, the sharp edge work on the border is fantastic, the construction of the artwork is stunning, scary as all get-out but stunning!
Lorin, Who doesn't like a beautiful landscape? Who on this earth can't but love a landscape that has been created and painted by you brother? If that was on an illustration board I would be telling you to get it scanned and printed to sell as prints! Hell, come and paint it on my wall brother it is a stunning view to say the least.
Boy we are going to need to work damn hard on this one.
Looking forward to the next jab in this round.

This is gonna be a doozy!!! I am extremely impressed with these entries!! My breath was taken away by all three of them.
My hats off to you guys, any of these I would gladly post on my wall!
To the rest that enter, you better bring your A game because this has the potential to being one of the best contest yet on this forum!
