reference search

08-01-2007
I've been trying to find some reference on some carbon fiber. I have looked on the internet but nothing clear enough. Would anybody have a digital close up pic of this? Help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

Re: reference search
Lee,
Real easy way to do the carbon fiber.......
Go to the housewares dept of Walmart or Lowes, and pick up some of the "Cabinet Liner" stuff - its rubbery so things don't slip around in the cabinet....check the pattern, but this stuff works great!! Quick and easy. I will usually use a black or dark gray base......strectch the cabinet gripper across the surface (tape in place) then use Silver and lay it on. Let it flash off before you attempt to remove the cabinet liner. I will use black or gray, sometimes even brown or a green to lightly dust over the surface. Then stretch the liner back over (don't line it up!!) and apply a second coat of silver. Looks pretty good.
