Unhappy Help!!!

I took my new Paasch VL apart to clean. It had a bent trigger so I got a new one. When I tried to put it back together the rocker came off. Is it supposed to? Can it be fixed? Thanks.

Gosh redhead, I don't know about the Pasche abs, I own an Iwata and Badger. I'm sure someone will chime in soon with some help for ya.

if the rocker broke then fixing it could cost almost as much as a new trigger unit if you had to pay ship cost to factory and back to your address but replacing a roller pin is not all that costly

I forgot to extend a welcome to you

Redhead, YES it can be fixed, it isn't broken, it is tricky for someone putting it back together for the first time, the best thing to do is get an exploded view of the brush and slowly and carefully put the brush back together as it shows in the diagram. Not sure but I think Don has provided some exploded views of that brush somewhere here on the site.

Maybe this link will help?
Paasche VL and VLST-Pro Parts List

When you put the rocker assembly back in (#30 on the chart), make sure you put the taller side of the end (with the little bend) upward toward the finger button of the trigger. You should be able to see it when you look down the trigger slot from the top of the airbrush.

I took a few quick photos, just in case you don't know what I'm talking about. Sorry some are kind of blurry. Hope it helps. (Maybe it's overstating the obvious! Ha ha ha!)
