Default Paint for a woodcarving

I am finishing a woodcarving of a Jesus to be hung on a cross at a local church. Does anyone have any recommendations for flesh colored paint that would be appropriate for a woodcarving? Also any recommendations for a clear suitable for outdoor exposure (sun and rain)? I've used automotive clear on previous carousel horses, but I'd prefer not to have a glossy finish on this one.

ALSA as well as auto air I believe make skin tone sets if you can't mix your own

clear coats any good stain or flat exterior clear like they use on decks or wooden boats maybe I would think would work but check is your paint and clear will react well together

or a flat automotive clear I guess

have fun

lets see some pictures when you are done

Thanks Don, this gives me direction on how to proceed. I'm definitely not an airbrush artist, just use the airbrush to help out with some of my woodworking projects. I've attached a photo of my last project. This is a carousel horse that I put on a rocker for a child size toy.

Helmsman inter/exterior polyeuro..
Ive used it for years on wood exterior signwork.....
The high gloss has an orange tint to it and needs to be thinned with mineral spirits and very light passes on work that have alot of flesh tones or white..I have not used the Satin finish before so cant advise if that tint is in it, and the same method of thinning to avoid it is needed.
The Helmsman is compatable with all the paints I have worked with....even HOK...hope this helps
