Default Paasche V

I just bought a used Paasche V#1 airbrush and I can only get it to spray if I cover the top of the cap. I tried thinning and also just plain water and it still doesn't work. Is there a washer or something gone bad inside? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank You

Hey Redneck (cool name) I put the beeswax on the threads and bingo it works like a charm. I didn't hear any air leaking but I guess it was. Thank you very much I really appreciate the help

the main reason for the airbrush using o-rings is so that the parts will seal against air leaking without having to over tightern the parts , I recommended using o-rings when possible

And if you have parts that are cracked or damaged, get replacement parts asap.
That's a good little workhorse you have there, take care of it and it will give you lots of years of great service!
