Default Another part problem

I recently bought a Devilbliss Startline gun pack it came with a few nice things to clean the guns with, it also included a touch up gun and a regular gun.. everything looks great down side is I can not get a fitting here in Australia to connect the hose to it... apparently the fitting that is attatched to the guns are NPT (or NTP?) which is not used here in Australia...

So I am asking very nicely if someone can help me out and buy and send the part to me - I am needing a female NPT at one end and a regular 1/4" at the other end adaptor - I will pay for everything of course just needing this part otherwise I have spent a lot of money on something I can not use.

I have contacted the people that I bought the kit from but they have not yet gotten back to me

kindest regards christine

Thanks guys really appriciate the point in the right direction... Pitontheprowl.. thanks for the link I have had a look on there but it seems that they don't have a listing for the Devilbiss and there are no pics and it does not say what sort of thread profile these parts are... so I am not 100% sure as to what I am looking at...

I will later drop them a email and see if they can help out as well

In the US at least, there are actually a whole lot of smaller and larger fittings, from 1/8" to 1/5", and there are variations of styles within each size. For quarter inch quick connects, there are industrial and automotive styles, which are different from each other. There are different threading and pitch counts for different materials and styles. You can't take any of it for granted.

Problem solved.... I found the parts that I need after endless hours of driving around and hundreds of klm later found a place that had what I was needing a company that sells "Air tool" this particular company has a variety of different threaded fittings and the Devilbiss is equivelant to "Ryco" made products...
Mind you it did take him just a little over 90 minutes of trying various fittings and come up with the right combination - I ended up having to get a complete new lot of fittings from the gun to the hose as I had previously had "Nitto" fittings...

So all is good now I just have to heat up the shed to start doing some spray painting weather is about 12 degrees C here at the moment

Thanks to everyone for there help
