advice on RG-3L and HP-BCs compatability
i'm an artist living and working in Ireland(the land of zero airbrush suppliers), I have a mural company and i am interested in doing my murals with air brushes
i wanted the rg-3L for mainly doing backgrounds and other bits aswell and then the HP-BCS for detail more so .does this seem sensible or would you advise otherwise
Is there a item that would let me run both brushes from the one compressor and if so will the capacity of the compressor need to be greater ,This is the compressor i was thinking of getting (THE WHISPAIR 50/9 )
* 9 litre receiver
* 40 dB (A)
* Super silent for use virtually anywhere
* Complete range includes portable and static models
* Reliable, simple and robust construction
* Standard equipment
* Ease of use, simple automatic control
* Additional information can be found at:
Capacity - 50 lt/min / 1.76Cfm Pressure - 8Bar / 116psi Motor - 340W / 0.5Hp Voltage - 230V Tank (L) - 9 Dimensions WxDxH (mm) - 350x350x470 Weight - 21Kg
also is there some thing for the rg3 that would allow me to use the same paint bottles as the HP-BCS.
I'M really feeling my way around here and any advice would be great.
p.s what do you think of my choice of brushes.
Thanks ! a frustrated with irelands resources and envious of USA choices ,forum newbee.

Re: advice on RG-3L and HP-BCs compatability
The RG-3 may be good enough for some of your backgrounds depending how big your murals are. I would invest in something that size because it definitly would be handy for the type of work you do.
I believe the HP-BCS has tip and needle size of 0.5 and the RG-3 has a tip and needle size of 0.6, not much difference there but would still serve your purpose as far as detail for murals.
I have a G-6 eclipse,0.6, and use it for backgrounds for like 18inch by 24inch panels but I don't do big murals with it but that doesn't mean they cannot be used for that.
As far using the same bottle feed I'm almost sure they come with a side feed attachment for bottles. My G-6 did and they are similar in specs.
Hope this helps MR. WP.
