Hokey Smokes! I was like WOW! I don't know of the character you
are painting, just know it takes an incredible amount of talent to
pull that off. Actually, when I saw the "Practicing Boris" title, I
thought of the only Boris I could think of, the cartoon characters,
Boris and Natasha. Boy, am I giving away my age. LOL
Great work, Jeds. Goldbrush

Great work, Jeds. Goldbrush
Goldie, that would make you 21 right? The Bullwinkle movie was only about 10 years ago, I'm sure that's what you are referring to.

If you say Boris to me I think on Karloff. Or maybe I'm just too old for you all. But back to the matter in hand this is a top piece of work Baha.

I'm a huge Frazetta fan for as long as I can remember and have alot of his books. Cant wait to see what you will do.
I dont remember if you mentioned or not but do you do this for a living? You should.
Is there a market for it where you are from? If not you should be able to create one with no problem, you have some great talent and an awesome gift.
Keep'em comin!

no actually, i don't paint boris or frazetta because i want to sell the repro of their works, i just did it for practice.... but yes... i'm working as airbrush illustration here in saudi from 1994 until 1999 then i shift to computer graphics, sometime there are few jobs that requires my airbrushing skills.. this is what i want and love to do.. because this is the reason why i got here... and so i keep practicing this skills.. including my stencil cutting skill that you would think it was done by plotter... do you know that i can cut hairline on maylar?... before i got here, i used to work in exporting company in philippines.. they are exporting novelty products made by capiz shell.. and i work as airbrush instructor.. teaching how to cut the maylar as stencil and how to use airbrush in painting novelty products... that is why making repro is not that hard for me to do.. even if its photo or paintings....

That sounds like some great experience Jeds, you are very fortunate to have that type of knowledge and able to apply to ABing.
Will be good to see more of your work.

Can anyone say the word jealous I used to sit and stare at these books as a kid dreaming of being an illustrator and loving what I did. Then I became a Truck driver wawawa Keep up practicing and do what you realy love best and don't settle like I did. If you don't want to work in computor graphics then don't. You have PLENTY of skill!

AWESOME WORK EVEN IF YOUR JUST PRACTICING. YOU REALLY JUSTIFIED BORIS, I ON THE OTHER HAND HACKED UP SOME OF FRAZETTA'S DEATHDEALERS TO SATISFY A COLOR PALETTE ON A MOTORCYCLE.
