Harley Davidson True Fire....W.I.P.
Hello everyone, This is my first bike so this should be good! This guy came to me after he saw the MailBox I painted in true fire. He painted his bike base black and had it clearcoated with Dupont clear (same stuff Im useing) and brought me the tins. Ill post my progress as I go. J.Foe

Hi again, Here I have finished the fire red and then the crome yellow and is ready for the candy orange. Thats all I got finished for now.Hope this comes out good.Got my fingers crossed. Jim

Jim, don't know if you're planning on doing this but you should add layers of candy orange on top of layers of red/yellow/white to give depth. Just something I've seen before

Absolutely Luc.....My plan is to layer this and intertwine the flame licks to give plenty of depth( did a practice panel and it looked pretty cool). We shall see!! Gonna try to keep going on this tonight between all the other stuff on the "Honey-Do list".....if ya know what I mean. Jim

Hello everyone, Here are some progress pics. I sprayed candy orange then another layer of white with chrome yellow added.Will be adding more candy orange and more layers.Will post my progress as I go. Jim

Hello again, Got some time to work on these and this is where I am....I put another layer of chrome yellow mixed with white then candy orange mixed with candy sunset then some candy bright red at some spots. Jim
