OK Foe, I'm no fire expert but the first thing that jumps out at me is that the pattern looks repetitive. The lines are too nice and round and they should be tighter on the bottom and looser at the tip. Just my immediate observation

Re: Harley Davidson True Fire Finished
Boy, your colors are blended beautifully. I love your consistency.
So perfect! That is going to look awesome all assembled. And
just my take on fire. I'm doing my first fire job ever on a bike right
now, as you may know. I really looked at A LOT of different fire
jobs here, on the internet, bike shows, etc.... The fire jobs I have
seen are Sooooooooo different from one another. True fire is true
fire, then there are tons of variations from that, and truly, I feel
the artist's personal talent is reflected in their rendition of fire if
not trying to paint the exact true fire form. Yours is great! And
a very professional looking job as well. I hope my husband's bike
I'm working on turns out as well as yours. Just my thoughts! GB

Re: Harley Davidson True Fire Finished
I would not worry about there being a next one Foe I'm sure after people see this job there will be a client or two. Maybe if you could pick up a practice tank that will help you improve, not that you need that much improvement. A job well done I'd say.

Re: Harley Davidson True Fire Finished
Way to go Foe. Not bad at all. I would be proud to have your first tins on my bike. But Luc has a good point. Need to check details in order to be totally on point. I have to be more observant my self. But I still think you did a great job. I wish I was ab as good as you.

Re: Harley Davidson True Fire Finished
I agree with goldbrush. It seems everyone puts a lil of themselves into their fire. It's not about making it look like someonelse's fire. It's making it your fire. Once you figure out how to tweak it to your liking, you got it licked ( no pun intended ). If you're happy with how it looks that's all that counts I think it looks good.

Re: Harley Davidson True Fire Finished
That looks great to me.
That is the thing about flames (be it old school or true fire) everyone sees them in a different light.

Re: Harley Davidson True Fire Finished
I know nothing about doing fire. Doing old school flames is the same idea.
You get your way dialed in and you got your own identification on every
flame or fire job you do. I am sure you will get many more jobs. Everyone
has their own taste on true fire. I like your style and colors. Nice clearcoat
too.
