Default couple of recent bits

couple of pics of things ive done recently..

1. my daughters friend had an old helmet that she wanted painting.it was so old and chipped, the inner foam was nearly all missing... luckily she doesnt use it for riding.. she wanted it for show... not a lot of prep, just a quick scuff and off i went lol.. think it was from the 70s judging by the shape of the helmet...

2. Suzuki bandit front fender donated by a friend.
done this today.... sort of inspired by "dead things".... its not great but not too bad..

i have been around, checking the site out every other day just havn`t done a great deal of painting..
luckily the fender is a practice piece,as i have just done the rear of it and i dont know why but the original colour (red) has bled through the clear...see pics.. thats never happened before.
i used AA, base coat whit, then pearl white then the atrwork, everything was fine... put a couple of coats of rattle can clear on it and its gone all pinky lol... didnt happen with the front part... luckily..
