Birch Wolf
Did this for my Mom, she owns a Mexican Red Wolf and is real fond of wolf memrobilia, so I thought I would paint this up for her. This is done on an 20" oval canvas with Createx and a Hp-Bh+ and an Infinity airbrush, have about 3 hrs into it.

Re: Birch Wolf
Thanks!!!!!! Yeah she really has a WOLF, she has raised it since it was 4 weeks old, it is very well mannered, you would never know that it wasn't a domesticated dog, just a big baby.

Re: Birch Wolf
Do you have any pictures of it Lorin, what an awesome thrill.
I suppose if I was to tell some of you guys that a friend of mine owns Dingo's, but to me the wolf is so much more, so majestic and they have so much going on behind those eye's
Dingo's are nothing like that in any way shape or form.

Re: Birch Wolf
Brushy.....wonderful job....I get more, and more impressed with your backgrounds....I have a 2 man saw to start soon, and I havent jumped in because of the trees and stuff in the bground....one of those 1st time butterfly projects.....

Re: Birch Wolf
Thanks again all, Peanut you will do fine, just decide how you want your background, out of focus or part of the scene, if you are trying to bring attention to a specific subject in the painting, you may want to paint the background out of focus to bring that attention to the subject matter, and if it is like a landscape scene where you want all visible then you would paint it in focus so that the attention is of the overall painting. I want you to know I envy you having a two man saw blade to paint, I keep looking for them at any craft fair, flea market, and even garage sales that I might visit to pick them up, so far no luck. A friend of mine who does not paint found a 6 footer and 3 hand saws, bought them all for $11.00 total, but would not sell them to me, oh well I'll keep looking.

Re: Birch Wolf
brushbyair, if your friend refuse to sell the saws, maybe you can paint them for him, just don't try sawing wood with them

Thanks Brushy...this one has been in the family many years,we found it when we had to tear down one of the oldest sheds after Katrina hit...we already had one in stock, but it has come up gone, or hubby placed it dont remember where ahahaha.
I have in the past week been looking at some things for an idea I want to reflect deer/turkey/banjos/and harmonica these are the things the hubbys father was so into during his life.He was very famous for his calling of the old time square dancing...I just cant make up my mind..Hubbys cousin has 3 of the 2 man, and want his painted also...
I have posted a note to watch for one for you, cant promise, but if I come across one at the right price I will sure let you know
