Default Pin-up painting

Hello everyone! This is a pin-up painting I did. I used Com-art paints, FW inks and some colored pencils. It was painted on 11" x 14" bristol board. I added some step by step photos.
Thanks,
Zackary

Nicely done Zackary!!! I love the silk texture, and the hair is to die for!
Do you put all of the little green lines on the edges of the frisket film to be able to see the edges maybe?

Thanks Sandi! Yes, that's correct about the green lines. It would be a pain in the butt if I didn't mark it. It's so much easier to line the TransferRite (frisket) back on the art.

Zachary, She is devine mate!

Sandi is spot on about the hair and the silk, just Brilliant!

What I find really striking is the skin tones, the shape and flow is really beautiful.

Something for me to aim for.

Thank you for sharing this awesome piece.

Hey Zack. Every time I see your avatar I stop dead in my tracks and just stare at it. I love it but it's taking me five or six times longer to post a reply when you have already posted. I keep scrolling back up to your reply to look at your avatar. I can't seem to consentrate on what I'm typing... If I stay on this forum too much longer I'll have to change my name to "The Perv."...

Thanks Satch! You're very kind. I don't want to make you a perv. But if it happens, it happens.

She is gorgeous, and I adore her skin shimmer, VERY realistic!
Can you explain those green slashes mentioned earlier?
I am new, not sure what is marked, the frisket film over the canvas, or the canvas itself, and why is that done? I appreciate your time
Great job!

Barbara, the green slashes are done so that when he cuts and removes a part of his frisket he can be sure it's properly lined up when he puts it back on. If you look at the slashes, they all cut across a line that will be cut to remove a section of masking.

The slashes are on the mask itself, not the canvas.

Ah, ok! Thanks so much!
I hadn't seen that before, so wanted to ask

Thanks!!
Rustynuts is correct. I put color slashes on the Tranferite (Frisket), so it's easier to line it back up. Before I did this I could never line it back up properly.
