Harry's new bike painting
This is a bike Harrydidit just finished. He is one of the most talented guys I've seen with his use of kolor, just amazing and all done with a 30 year old binks single action airbrush.

It's kind of like Frazetta'ish. Like the artwork in that magazine HEAVY METAL.

Re: Harry's new bike painting
Hi All, glad you like her....she's on a customer chopper built by a friend of ours Trent Bobay, Bobay Choppers, it's just a rolling chasis right now but Trent should be getting an engine on her soon then you'll be seeing her at the shows, should be a winner don't you think?
Answers:
ern0666: Harry has about 12 hours in the tank. Once he gets going he doesn't stop, it's amazing to watch him work.
Diaz: It's not a Frazetta, although Frazetta is Harry's favorite artist, its a Simon Bisley, better known as Biz. And yeah, you've probably seen her a time or two in Heavy Metal, but that would be Simon's work not Harry's.
Mayhem: Harry is from the old school, he always uses his Binks Wren single action (you can't get them any more I don't think we have trouble finding parts) He uses his airbrush in the same style you would use oils...
Don: Thanks for posting it, now that I know those types are allowed on the forum you may see more from Harry..... t and a are his favorite subjects...tee hee.

Hey Yardartnut...
Thanks, glad you like our house. I'm going to try to get an article written for the printed mag with pictures of inside and out and telling what it was like to have a camera crew there all day....what fun!
Harry is working on a wall mural for a guy near Chicago that wants his basement to look like a log cabin, the guy saw the "What's with that house?" show so when he get's that one done, we'll show it for you....
ok this is a pin up thread so back to the babes....

Re: Harry's new bike painting
Hi all,
Thought you'd like to see the crazy paint job that Harry did for the winner of the Sandusky Bike Week 2007 bike show. The same guy owns that last one we showed here..he's pretty twisted but that's the kind of stuff Harry loves to do. Both bikes are going to the Michigan Chopper Fest this weekend. See if we can drum up some more work. Anyway, here's the link to our site, can't really post it here. http://www.lizardco.com/motorcycles40.html we call it Dr. Bobay and Nurse Boobs. enjoy.

Re: Harry's new bike painting
That is amazing. I started off with a single action airbrush but I didn't spend much time with it , it didn't take me long to want a double action. Harry is just awesome with that. Brad.

Hi Jim:
I think he had about 40 hours in it, and as much as he hates it, he has to get out the reading glasses these days to do the work....

Hi Brad:
It's funny, he has a couple of nice double actions, one that we got from Don and one I bought him but he still loves his single action binks. Too bad they don't make 'em anymore..... course they don't make 'em like Harry either
Liz
