Thoughtful gesture!!

I got such a pleasant suprise in my mail today & I want to thank kimmo so much--you sure know how to make an older woman swoon..While kimmo was on his vacation with his lovely wife he took the time & wrote & sent me a pretty postcard from Prague--all the way around the world--who would even think such a thing would arrive safely (almost like a note in a bottle!!)..such a pretty place too!! I've always had a bit of a thing for Vikings & now I've gone & got me one --pity the other girls!!--Now watch--postcards will be popping up all over the place!! I'll find out if he's fickle..It was such a nice thought & so unexpected that it made my whole day!! Thank you kimmo!!

that was really cool........it amazes me that people you have never laid eyes on can be so nice. i have met a lot of great folks on the internet, and a big number belong to this forum!!

Landsbro, your card was so much more..I drug myself to the mailbox with all the woes of life--expected bills--adult children having lots of problems--more work than I can do but not enough to make a swell living--bad weather looming--a retired husband & of course constant aging..It was pretty grim & then there was a small 4"x6" scrap of paper with pretty pictures that made it'self almost around the world just to tell me HI!!--Life's pretty good & you are a top notch gentleman!!-
Remember--good lettering has nothing to do with your own penmenship--it's all practice!! Lettering's not in your comfort zone right now, just like true flames are not for me--Most probably, when out of neccessity we will both learn what we desire..Thanks again !!--you get a winky face & your wife will just have to be understanding!!
