Default Third try: rattlesnake

Well I got the posting figured out.
This is my third project and although the pic here dosn't do it justice, I like the original. Tell me what you guys think!

The black mark in the lower left is from me trying to make it stand out better using windows pic and fax viewer.

BTW if Darla reads this there is about half a million dots 'n daggers in it.
I has listening to some Hendrix while I was painting and when "Dolley Dagger"
came on I ended up singing "Darla Daggers" to m'self.

Such a cute story it made me smile.. This is beautiful--I'm a girl from Texas & I'd back away from it!! You never know when you'll be called on to make certain brush strokes..You did just what was required of you to render a snake & look how well it turned out..how large is this piece?? Life size I hope. A half a million daggers-- with Hendrix in the background it would seem a lot less & I'll bet they went quickly..Very nice job that would fetch a pretty penny here in Texas.. ..

Thanks for the feedback guys!
QUickchange it's painted on a leather vest with Createx opaques.
Darla I was stationed in Abilene TX. in the Air force and saw many of the lovely critters you have down there. The full size is about 16" x 9" and with all of the layers putting in the scales there are lots of daggers & dots albiet small ones.
The largest scale is about 1/4" or so.
BTW i went on one of your rattlesnake roundups one year and a bag of 'em all mad &
biting the bag is a site to behold,....but they are goooood eating.

Also Darla have you ever heard of using dish soap in your paints? I read a lot before starting my "new addiction" and was having trouble geting the paint just right to get good flow. I tried aquatex flow enhancer and it worked till I spilled the bottle. It smelled kinda soapy and I mixed up some Dawn dish soap
(2drops) in an 8oz. bottle of water an it worked. I am just wondering if it will break the binder in the paint, and it will peel or am I ok with this.
