Question split nozzel

ive only had my iwata eclipse for a few weeks but the nozzle has "split".. there is a rough burr at the tip... not sure what ive done, but now the needle sticks out past the cap.... it still works but there is a small amount of paint bleeding before the trigger is pulled back.... any ideas why this would happen?... i use AA and get quite a bit of tip dry which i have to pick off.. was wondering if ive been too heavey handed....

i may have dropped the nozzle... but im not sure...
ive ordered another one..

any suggestions as to why it would split would be most grateful

thanks

Hmm,,you might have pushed the needle in to hard,,this can cause a split
tip,,,,i use to wet my finger tips to make them little slippery when i put the needle back in the airbrush,,,, when the needle stops my fingers slide a bit on the needle,,, it works pretty well,
