Don't be so hard on yourself. Look at the first one and then this one. A big difference. Its coming along great. As for the paint, I am not familiar wirh Golden as we use 90% automotive, but maybe the pressure is to low. I know that with Createx we spray at about 40-50 on an absorbant surface. What are you painting on? Paper, cloth, metal? That is a big factor as well. I'm sure that there are plenty of folks here who have much more expereince with the ggolden paints and give you their pressure advise.
Keep going man.
Its really coming along.

Kahli, relax mate.

The linework is there, it's all about time and patience, through practice you gain knowledge, as long as you don't give up you will always get better each time.

Take the time to learn how the brush works, how the paint flows on different material and on different days, so much to learn it seams so hard to take it all in.
But I ask you to remember just one thing! baby steps, the biggest dreams can be accomplished with just the smallest steps.

Good luck and keep at it.

Hi Khalis... your skull looks real good to me. I like it.
As for the paint sputtering... it sounds like your brush needs cleaning. I believe Joyce had a real good thread going here about a week ago that addressed the same problem. See if you can find it. I'll look also, if I find it I'll try to post the link.

take it slow,,understand why the paint is spitting like that,,first step: what type of surface are you painting on, and whats your pressure at?

SECOND: I think it looks sick,,,NOT BAD AT ALL,,WITH A just a little more knowledge of the gun, paint, flow, youll be pumping these bad boy skulls out in no time,,

keep em coming,,practice,,practice,,i think ya did this on bristol if im correct? try erasing some of it to soften it up?

You are doing great. Just try cleaning the airbrush really well and especially all the tiny holes in the airbrush. Then turn your pressure up to 40-45 if you can. Then thin down your goldens paint with goldens airbrush reducer. A 50/50 mix should be good at those low pressures that you are using. Pick the dried paint off you tip of your airbrush every 5min. Good job on the skull. Brad.

The biggest "problem" I see is that the line width you are using is much greater than the reference. You might try to do the picture larger or adjust your distance from the work to get a thinner line.

**Please be advised**
any advise I give you is from a rookie and not to be taken without a grain of salt.

khalid49er. itīs going wery good for u and you are improving. I also use golden colors for all my work, and the withe can cause a littel problem. here is what I do, I mix the white with the golden airbrush medium around 80/20 80 paint and 20 medium. this will help a lot on the tip dry and you wonīt have glogs in you ab any more. just always remember to realy give thos golden bottles a good schake b4 use. I normaly spray at around 35 psi, when using a gravity feed ab with a 0.3 nossel

Hey Khalid49er!
I have been airbrushing only for a week now and couple things I've noticed is that the airbrush is a very delicate instrument and the paint shaken shaken shaken and shaken! Getting thin lines is a pain with a clean airbrush and the color well shaken, as soon as you get paint built up on the needletip, stop trying, relax, clean the needletip and you are ready to go! At least that's how I do it
