Default Somthin New!!!

Here is my first try with a black background and trying true fire sort of. I have bene studing the post about true fire trying to figure out the technique.
I know I have a ways to go any pointers would be great. I used createx transparent red, yellow, & orange. The transparent yellow was nasty looking so I watered down some opaque yellow which came out much brighter. I used no masks or blocking the whole thing is freehand. I sprayed it with a Paasch VL.

I decided to retouch the paint a little to add some hi-lights and darken a few areas.

The paint is mostley transparent red, orange and yellow. I used some opaque yellow mixed with a little water to wash it out and some white. Then I went over the whole thing with transparent reb. I have never tried this kind of fire so I pretty much played with it until I thought it was Ok.

Thanks for the kind words.

Hey guys,
Dont give up on the createx just yet "IT CAN BE DONE" I use 'em 'cuz they're the easiest for me to get.
I'm using the mike lavalle method.
For the moly orange I use the transparent orange mixed with a little red, and transparent coral for the Candy tangerine, also no purple.

Hey by the way,
That fender was an experiment! Don't judge the paint job just yet.
I'm having a little trouble deciding how to paint MY bike. It seems its a little easier to paint for others than for yourself.

That's great Snuff! All Createx huh? Guess I'll have to try it cause Createx is more readily available for me too. I see that you have a bottle of Fantastic in the pic. What mixture do you use?
