HAHAHA! good on ya Tom.

Voodoo, those Tee's are fantastic mate, welcome back to the fold, it's really good to hear that you have been busy painting (and improving big time by the look of it), Personally I just can't pick a favorite, they are all really very good.

Only thing I would like to mention, I hope you don't mind, is that on the whales, the light reflection is just a bit too structured. The idea is great, it just needs some movement to it.

As I said, this is just my personal opinion, and I hope you don't mind me saying something or pointing this out.

Take care mate and keep us posted on more of your work.

thanks so much everyone for your kind comments,

rowie --- I most definitely dont mind you or any other artist
giving me advice or suggestions on how to make my work look better.

I heard the same thing from someone else I showed this shirt to.
I kind of was going by the referrence photo i had which was an airbrushed painting.
after hearing that I looked at some pictures with light reflections
and saw how it was more jagged lines and not uniform.

I dont have alot of art experince so im not real familiar with shading,
light sources , etc. but just like everything else since I have been airbrushing,
it is starting to make sense after practice, practice practice.

Thanks for pointing that out to me and all comments, critiques or hints,
whatever ya got ,, throw em at me !!!! lol

Very nice work, VooDoo! Do you use a primer or anything first on the T's? My experience is the fabric soaks up the paint so much I have to do too many layers of paint. I like the Goth one best but they are all very nice.

Romper ---thanks !!!!
on a couple shirts I have sprayed some golden gac900 and heat set before painting but It didnt really make a huge difference ---

i have heard of some people using a hair dryer to heat set between layers but ive never tried it.

I think i use way too much paint on some of my shirts but when im done I spray the gac 900 (3 coats) then heat set (heat press 350 for 30 secs)
and it pretty much blends everything together ( flattens the fuzzies too )
and gives it a nice smooth sheen.

Hey Natalie,
I know you love that ugly F*&&%# fish ---
the lady finally picked it up from me (thank god)
she loved it and I dont have to look at it any more.

I should paint you one so you can have a ugly fish of your very own (lol)

thanks birichino ---

I work at a scuba shop, the lady was a customer of mine who I painted a few shirts for (shark, eel ) .
But she also wanted the fish done cuz she said she had been diving when she took the pic of the fish and the fish was all cuddly and let her hug it or something.
So i guess she had some kinda connection with this fish (fish fetish?)(haha)

I dont know ......
i like the way it came out but it took me forever to figure out how to render the skin texture..(tried it 3 different times)(wasted 3 shirts)( even my buddy shawn tried it and gave up)... and by the time I was done , I didnt want to see it ever again.
but I did learn alot from that one.
and I got $35 out of it ( after about 6 hours worth of work, 3 wasted shirts and probably a quart of paint ) very profitable ....... not
