snowmobile hood

Default snowmobile hood

had an extra hood for my sled laying around and i took it down and painted it...let me know what you think!!
grey scotch brited (bare plastic)

dupont variprime sprayed

i then sealed it-

basecoat (chrysler brilliant black, high metallic with various pearls)

freehanded flames

flames based in a less metallic toyota black\

i then airbrushed the edges of the flames to fade them (i mixed silver pearl in with the toyota black used to base the flames and thinned it a little)

lol that depends which car your talking about, i did all this at our family body shop..the blue car is an OOOLLDDD desoto ambulance/herse thing with suicide doors...and the primered car is a 69 camaro thats going to paint next week..and in the booth right now is a 60's-70's gto full restored...and outside there is a 50's-60's ford project truck with a built 390..haha..

and yes hopefully i can make some people jelous!! especially since im only 16!

oh and FYI, I have a 1952 Dodge Kingsway custom that I am currently restoring, I wish mine looked like yours does there.
