Default Rebel Skelly

Here's a 10" decal I just finished for a friend's black bike in Salt Lake City. I'm pretty new to airbrushing skulls (I'm more of a nature nut), but I think he turned out okay. The first photo was taken before I cut around the decal (I painted it on black cast vinyl), the second after hand cutting. I'm most happy with the bandana folds - I was worried about how they would turn out. I guess you just gotta dive in and PAINT!

I enlarged the first photo, so it's a wee bit pixelly...

Nice work, I especially like the use of red.

Very nice! At the risk of sounding stupid I would like to know what paint you used. I am not up to date on this decal thing. I buy vinyl decals from a sign shop for my service trucks and I wounder if its the same stuff. anyway like I said very nice!

Pretty cool Eclectic. That did surprise me a little bit you had done somethin' like this. Your site displays alot of different content. Still looks really cool. I still have not yet attempted the vinyl art thing yet but hopefully soon. Keep posting your great worx!

Rob, I usually use House of Kolor automotive paint on the decals. If I need a really heavy pearly look, I use some of Createx' water-based paints, they've got some interesting colors, but man, they can gunk up a gun!

Diaz, I'm trying to do more samples of skulls and flame type stuff, because it's what a lot of my bike clients request. However, I try to get clients to tell me what's important in their lives, what is meaningful to them, and drag an original design idea out of them that way.
