Question quiet pls

i have a quick question maybe someone can help me out
my mini jet compressor finally took a dive no matter what psi i set it to when i press my trigger it keeps going all the way down under 10 psi and therfore no power to push my paint thats kinda the best way i can expalin it anyway my question is
i have a friend of mine who is whilling to sell me his craftsman 1/3 upto 125 psi compressor for 50 dollars the only thing is that its a little to loud for 2 or 3 in the morning airbrushing is their anyway to quiet it down cause its really hard to beat that price suggestion would be appriciated

you can build an insulted plywood box to go over the top of the compressor
there are plans for doing just among the 200 plus articles in www.airbrushartistmagazine.com

as well as several for building an easel and your own silent compressor
