Cool Questions From An Old Guy

I too, am brand new to Airbrushing. And I have probably a million
questions..
I'll start by saying..I need to be able to paint VERY THIN LINES. I
have an inexpensive airbrush ( $40 ) that doesn't do what I need for
it to do. So..The question is: Which AB (airbrush ) should I get ? Do I
need a setup with different needles ? If so, How do I replace these
needles, and have them work correctly ?
I could go on for awhile with the questions..I am trying to find some
one locally ,to give me one on one instruction.
Thanks Guys for any advice, suggestions, or comments. I don't expect
to be a "Artist", as MANY of YOU already are. I just want a hobby that
keeps me sharp...Old Guy here, trying to learn.
Thanks,
Stan

Cool Re: Questions From An Old Guy

I apologize..I should have spent more time reading the other Threads
and posts. Do I need to withdraw the above post, and ask to have this
Thread removed ?
Thanks again,
Old Guy,
Stan

Cool Re: Questions From An Old Guy

[font=Comic Sans MS]I do have a question. Is there a knack or certain way you reinstall
the needle after cleaning the brush ? I thought I was doing something
good, and decided to completely clean my "inexpensive airbrush"..
Having a hellofatime putting it back together, and have it work
correctly.
I have recently purchased a Paasche brush, and have learned my
lesson not to venture unchartered grounds. I would love to find an
Instructor, or someone that could give me one on one basics. Being
an Old Guy, I work better hands on..OJT-On The Job training, so to speak.
I am planning to subscribe to the magazine, but that is down the road.
Any help , guidance, would be appreciated. I am not above asking for
help, especially when there is so many informed people on this Forum,
and many eager to help people that are interested in the craft. I don't
plan to turn my hobby into a business, as I have NO artistic talent at
all. I am painting Engine Covers, and modifing them. Some I do sell,
but no one is in danger of me putting them out of business..LOL
Thanks guys, I am sure you get tired of "newbies" bugging you with
trivial questions, I'll try not to do it too often.
