No, just saying that HOK has a few different types of silvers and that you have a few options.
Really depends on what you want your based surface to look like or what you are trying to achieve with the silver.
But yes, patinum pearl (pbc-42) is finer than orion silver (bc-02) and probably is the look you are trying to achieve.
Becareful with this pbc-42, if you do not get all your sanding scratches out they will show up really bad.
I sometimes silver it,,, then wetsand it with 800 grit,,, the re-pbc-42 it,,, just to make sure to get rid of scratches that may show the first time.
You don't want to be haunted by scratches after clear.
Just keep a watchful eye.
