Re: Pink Candy
my girlfriend wanted me to paint something pink for her.
using E'Tac EFX500 paints i figured i'd add some white to red and make pink. i was spraying this over a pearl base. it seemed as if the white i used was just too opaque and it wasn't the effect i wanted.
so i reduced some red with e'tac reduce air and sprayed very light coats over the pearl to build up to the color i wanted. i ended up with a very powerful, seemingly luminescent pink that glowed!
i highly suggest anyone who hasn't tried E'tac paints to do so. they make textile paints called "private stock" and fine art paints under the Edwards FX moniker. all nano-ground, true process pigments with some of the highest lightfast ratings in the industry.
so now that im done trying to sell everyone on E'tac, i've no connectiong to them by the way, just blown away by the quality of their product.
i'd definitely suggest just reducing a red and layering it slowly, but i guess it really depends on the color you'll be spraying over.
