Is there such a thing as Pink candy made by AA? Should I just mix candy red with over-extended trans white? Just because I know that fluor pink is known to fade over time.

Thanks Yard. I saw that but what I wanted to do was to lay it on a silver base. I see they have candy magenta. The color sample looks good but that's about all I can tell...

Hey L, be careful with the Porn Star pink, I think Big D ran into some fading issues with this bike here after a few months. Check with him though. http://www.airbrushtechnique.com/for...avidson-10459/

Thanks Kwit, I remember that. I think he might have used fluorescent pink though?

I think the Magenta is the closest you will come to pink Luc. It's more of a hot pink, a little more purple-ish.
Maybe if you put in on a little thinner or I mean not as many coats you can get to a lighter colored magenta.
Justa thought.

I think I'll try that. Good point.

my girlfriend wanted me to paint something pink for her.

using E'Tac EFX500 paints i figured i'd add some white to red and make pink. i was spraying this over a pearl base. it seemed as if the white i used was just too opaque and it wasn't the effect i wanted.

so i reduced some red with e'tac reduce air and sprayed very light coats over the pearl to build up to the color i wanted. i ended up with a very powerful, seemingly luminescent pink that glowed!

i highly suggest anyone who hasn't tried E'tac paints to do so. they make textile paints called "private stock" and fine art paints under the Edwards FX moniker. all nano-ground, true process pigments with some of the highest lightfast ratings in the industry.

so now that im done trying to sell everyone on E'tac, i've no connectiong to them by the way, just blown away by the quality of their product.

i'd definitely suggest just reducing a red and layering it slowly, but i guess it really depends on the color you'll be spraying over.
