Default Painting surfboards

What type of paint (acrylic, auto, etc) should I use to paint the outer surface of a surfboard? Would I have to put a sealer or lacquer over the top. Thanks Tom

you can use auto air or automotive finishs as long as the sirface is perpared correctly for the type of paint you are using, a two part automotive clear might work or a marine clear for sure
sorry best i can do for you

don gave good info....but you do know that if the board is used, the artwork will be destroyed.....the way boards are made is like fiberglassboats....the art is applied before the final coats of glass resin are applied....painted boards look cool..but if used, dont last to long, unless coated with the fiberglass resins....hope this helps abit
