Default paint wont stop

Hi everyone, I have a badger 175. Just started using it for the first time and am very green to the world of airbrushing. Anyway when I push the trigger down not only did I get air but I also got paint. The paint also flowed as normal when the trigger was press back. I never taken the brush apart but could something been asemble wrong? Any feed back would be greatly appricated and also thank in advance. carlos

Sounds like the needle is not seated - loosen the needle chuck and make sure the needle is all the way forward (don't force it).

Carlos,
Being the owner of an anthem 155 I can but offer you one piece of advice.

Firstly, put some paper down on the kitchen table, then slowly and carefully pull the brush apart.
Whilst doing this make sure to note how it came apart, this will help you put it back together.
I believe that during assembly or during your first use something is causing the needle to not seat properly. Another thought is the primary cap is not seated correctly.
The thing is, if you strip the brush down and assemble it yourself you will not only succeed in fixing your current problem you will also have a far greater understanding of how YOUR airbrush works, and that is one lesson nobody can ever teach you but yourself.

good luck

Carlos, Don has posted some brush teardowns on this site, not sure if the Anthem is one of them, but you should check, it is a good reference even if the peticular brush is not listed.
