Hey all.. Thought I would introduce myself here hehe.

My name is Randy. I live in Groton, CT and have been in the military for 17 yrs. (get to retire soon Yay!)

I build electric guitars as a hobby and starting getting interested in airbrushing as a way to paint some nice scenes on guitars. I'm on the ProjectGuitar.com forums with the same nick as here.

I made the typical mistake of buying a cheap single action airbrush that gives little to no control over how much paint gets sprayed so now I"m anxiously awaiting the arrival of my dual action airbrush.. I bought a paasche VLS and can't wait to start making paint blots on paper hehe. I've got a couple of airbrushing books that I've been reading and looking forward to my first attempts.

Anyways, glad to be here!

hehe Thanx for the warm welcome.. Hopefully my first feeble attempts get such a good response LOL.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find copies of the Airbrush magazine where I live yet. I managed to convince wife to pop for the AB and a compressor, not sure I can convince her of a subscription yet but I'm working on it hehe.
