New to the forum...
Hi Everyone! I'm new to the forum. Some of you may know me from other forums...I've been posting on these since 2003. My Name is Sandi, I've been airbrushing for 18 years or so. I have experience in most all forms of airbrush from vehicles, signs, and textiles but I prefer fine art and that is what I am currently doing. I use Olympus, and Iwata airbrushes and Golden paints, usually painting on large panels.
I've been going through the gallery and have found an extreme amount of talent there! I'm amazed at the quality of work and nice folks here, so I hope to hang around if you guys will have me.

Welcome to the forum Sandi, sounds like you have a lot of experience and knowledge in airbrushing that bring to the forum. I am looking forward to seeing your work.

Hey thanks for the warm welcome!
I have a few recent pieces in the gallery here....
I asked Don about the nudes but haven't recieved an answer as of yet...I hope they don't offend. I read something about ''pin-ups'' but I'm unsure as to what is considered of that category. Here's a link...

Darla, Don't I know you from the now long gone Airbrush Online? I remember you, you were into signs and did some ferocious lettering if memory serves.  |

I've seen alot of you and your husband's artwork and love anything that is done with as much passion as you two have. I've said this to your husband and now I will say it to you, doing what you want for a living is always a plus and life is short and it seems the both of you are taking the long but beautiful way home. I hope to be at your level someday, not just artistically but as passionately as you are about your subject matter.

Well, I got the word. No more boobs. I removed my nudes from the gallery and even PG-13'd my avatar....just combed her hair over any offending parts. I didn't know this was a forum frequented by children, sorry if I offended anyone!  |

Satch, yes 18 years..but I did sleep some..and ate a few times, so it isn't 18 years solid. But I did start around age 16, freelanced mostly as I was on my own that young. I started my own sign company at 19 and ran it for 13 years, lots of airbrushing and other artforms,lettering,striping, gilding, glass etching, graphic design, photography.... always learning. I'm here to share what I know and learn as well. I've always found these forums to be extremely informative and at times entertaining. The best part is all of the great folks you get to meet along the way.
