My first work. '95 Mustang GT
My first attempt at airbrushing, or painting for that matter. I BC/CC the Mustang, then used the same paint (Limco Supreme) to airbrush the webbing, and Spidey on the side. I realised I like doing it so much that now I've ordered a bunch of learning material on it! Cart before the horse I know, but I think it came out pretty good by trial and error, don't you?

Nice work. What does BC/CC means ?.
What kind of airbrushes did you use to get the car done ?. Thinking you have used differrent airbrushes from the larger areas to the small details !!.

Re: My first work. '95 Mustang GT
Hi, everyone, and thank you so much for all your kind words. It inspires me to grow in the art.
To answer your question Sup3, BC/CC means basecoat/clearcoat vs. a one stage process like acrylic enamel. One stage can be nice too, but from all my research, to get a real showroom quality you need to B/CC like the manufacturers. For the three base colors, and black I shot it with a Cambell hausfeld spray gun, and detail gun. I used a badger suction feed airbrush to spray the white highlights and eyes. Then I used a gravity feed Iwata Revolution and a Chinese (ebay) gravity feed for the Spiderman on the sides. I did all the artwork with the same basecoat colors (Limpco Supreme) I was using for the car so it was a cheap way to get started in airbrushing since I didn't have to buy a bunch of special paints (until now that is) to get started. Although there was some trial and error as to the mix when reducin th basecoats. then I shot 4 coats of Eurethane clearcoat over the car, and artwork. I later found out that I could have cleared the car and then done the artwork and cleared it again. either way. Thank you for your compliment, and I hope I answered your questions.
Ray
