my first helmet

hi,jus thought id show u guys pic of the 1st helmet i sprayed for someone! it aint brilliant but the customer likes it so im happy.. he he..
oh dont mind the state of the visor and rubber linings as they were like that when i got it!

Great job. I'm also working on my first helmet. I've done a graphic and some flames and need to pinstripe the flames as well. What masking did you use for the pinstripes?

Also like the metal flake, was that applied after the base blue and purple?

thaks! for the pinstripin i used 3mm fine line tape(very hard stuff to get here in ireland). the metal flake was actually mixed in with the blue and the purlpe but not the pink colour,the pink is just a base magenta with iridiscent purlpe blending into it! u wil atually be suprised how easy it is to spray the whole thing once you plan it all out carefully. the hardest part for me was clear coating and getting the nice glossy finish!! go for it,youve got nothing to lose!! once you finish yours show us,id like to see it!
