Re: my 1st pic
good 1st effort, for sure. except the bit at the top of the eyepatch, it's very crisp. the fade on the teeth is nice. it needs a background, i think.

Re: my 1st pic
Az air nutt, this is a nice star with an airbrush and stencils, it has the look of a silk-screen. If you want to give it a little more 3-d look you need to add some shading to the left and a little below the skull, this will give it the look that the skull is lifted off the surface ( not flat ) as you progress in your ventures with the brush you will need to learn the basic strokes DOT, DAGGER, and consistant line thickness. The hardest thing to get yourself to do is practice the fundementals, but it is necessary if you want to be proficient with an airbrush. You have shown that you have the desire to be good with the airbrush, keep practicing and using the stencils, nothing says they are forbidden, they are a very good asset to airbrushing, you just need to learn the next steps to make your work look more realistic. Hope this helps you in the right direction.

Re: my 1st pic
thank you X
hope to paint it soon ( but don't want to mess it up )
i will put it on glass ( tape pic to back & paint on the front ) so i don't mess up the origanal
p.s. i like the skull bag you did for your boyfriend
i will be ordering something from you soon
i like to support the artist in the world as much as possible

Re: my 1st pic
Darla
thank you
i will give it a try
if it is over my head then i will go back to paper
i have issues w/disapointment but i promised myself that i would not give up on this ab thing
i have always wanted to be a ab artist just needed to get to it
now that i'm 44 i think it's time to quit dreamin' & do something
THANK YOU for the info. i will asimilate & see where it takes me
but be assured i will make it in this wounderful trek called airbrushing
satch
i cannot take credit for the dragon ( other than i drew this version ) i saw it in a d&d book a long time ago there are differences from the origanal but someone else came up w/ it first ( i hope that is not copyright issues w/ me posting my version )
i just did it as pratice ( to keep my drawing skills up ) but thank you
