Default Motorcycle Wind Screen

This is a windscreen my uncle did for one of his customers.

All done with Auto Air.

The hard part was painting it backwards!!!
Yep, it is painted on the inside of the screen.
I watched him start and stop on it for a couple days, the planning took him about two weeks before he decided to pull the trigger.
I think I came out great and the cool thing is, it is on the inside of the screen so it will never get rock chips.
Though the inside was cleared just to seal it.

I dont know what the lines are on the installed pic, both where taken with my cheap-a camera phone, they are not on the bike, just in the pic.

That is seriously killer!

I have been sitting here trying to imagine how to paint it in reverse, what a total mind blast.

Yeah, I sat and watch him loose hair and almost start smoking during this one.

Having to paint front to back and right to left, just about drove him crazy.

I have never seen that done before. Painting the windshield, I mean. Much less doing it backwards. I am dizzy thinking about it. I did not know such a thing could be done. Your Uncle did a really sweet job.

With the exception of the first one I saw the other day that Artworld posted. I may seem a little behind the times, but it is fascinating to me.

This takes alot of getting used to. I helped a friend several years ago do a boat the same way and thank god he was a pro because I was lost after the first few colors.
Your uncle did an awesome job and give him our compliments!
