This is what it takes to get the type of control over your AB and over the material that use to paint with. To have this kind of patience, practice and diligence is definitly required to do what you really want to achieve with your AB.
All newbe's should take note and we will all watch this guy take it to the next level!
Good work Ralph!

When is the contest deadline? My 9 year old son is learning to airbrush and he wants to make something and enter it.

That would be nice for your son to enter but if I,m not mistaken you have to be a subscriber to enter. But hey there is nothing wrong with your son posting on the visitors forum, or again papa could treat him to a subsciption.
Contest ends 30/04 but we need ten to make it official so come on Ralph put your practice to use even if it just to help us out. You can go to the contest link for rules and regs, hope to see you post man.

Ralph, GREAT practice sheets, this again shows your dedication to mastering the airbrush. Now to help you straighten out your lines try this drill " Make a line of DOTS 6" apart, each line the same size DOTS, make different size DOTS on different lines, then when you have all of the DOTS on your practice page, connect them by painting the same size line between them, pratice horzontally, vertically, and both angles, this will teach you to control the start and stopping of the paint flow, hover over a DOT, start spraying, move in or out until you have the same size pattern as your dot, then move quickly to the next DOT, stopping when you reach it. this drill will help with removing the squiggles. Nice daggers by the way, I can see you were moving a little faster when doing them than when you were doing your lines, just by the straightness of them.
