manifold on a silent compressor
i had to give this a try.i have never seen any one post this.from my start in air brushing i always thought this could not be done.i thought this because of what i read in the airbrush catalogs.when i read in a catalog, this compressor is only rated for one airbrush.also the silent air 50 compressor is rated for six airbrushes.
im like what does that mean??huh?do yous mean i can run more then two airbrushes at one time?or what?
any way i only airbrush with one airbrush at a time.i needed clarification.
airbrushing is so full of mysteries.

Re: manifold on a silent compressor
it does work.one airbrush at a time.i recommend take your time.this compressor needs a break from time to time.it needs a bigger tank. it cant keep up with me so im gonna sell it.

Re: manifold on a silent compressor
see that's what i mean.i bet every one scratches their head on this one.it compresses air to all the airbrushes.i can only operate one air brush at a time.
if i got another artist next to me we probably wont be able to airbrush at the same time for a long time.that would over heat the compressor.

Re: manifold on a silent compressor
Interesting setup.... I need about 4 more brushes to need that but I did make a two brush manifold for my little Sears compressor. I'm using quick disconnects and they have a habit of leaking.... so just sitting there while I make some mask or draw something out, the compressor cycles...... IF each and every connection isn't absolutely air tight, each connection will add a small leak which makes the compressor run more often.... a little dish detergent and water put on each connection could verify IF you have any leakers.
One would assume that IF you only use one brush that the compressor could handle the manifold but then again, I'm a rookie at this....
