Default licence plate WIP

here is a licence plate im doing for a friend. its a little rushed as its on paper and its just so i get the go ahead for it. now im having a little trouble hopefully yall can help me with, as you will see with the white for the highlights it spiders out. i cannot figure out how to fix this. ive had the psi from 20 to down below 15. i have tried different reductions of the paint. ive cleaned my brush. nothing i do will correct this, it happens everytime i use white paint. oh so you know im using createx. ive had a little trouble with the black also. and they also seem to clog up my gun all the time. anyway heres the plate let me know what you think.

The dagger strokes in the starburst are for the most part nice but I can see some blowouts. The lettering...well lets just use darlas favorite words of wisdom....

P R A C T I C E P R A C T I C E and yes P R A C T I C E...

you can tell you are going to slow and you are to hesitant with them. Good lettering is REALLY hard to achieve. but you past the first hurdle and gave it a try. The Violet shadows are done nice but again your can tell that you are trying to HARD on it. Keep on practicing and repost.... If you want darla has given a lot a great advice, search here lettering posts out and you can see the practice sheets she has offered. And do a couple hundreds if not thousands of those practice runs on paper towel.

Plus keep in mind, on hard surfaces, like a tag, lower your pressure and take your time, learn the gun control. on your blow up I and see at least 6 blowouts.

also, white is one of the hardest colors to work with - no getting around that.

others have posted about using future floor polish for thinning with & getting great results, maybe give that a try.

good lettering takes tons of practice, and Darla is the one to show you the way on that, as already mentioned.

other than that. try to relax, and have some fun with it.
