Default jean jacket

well, here is my first attempt at painting on fabric - a faded black denim jacket.

my original intent was to paint a dreamcatcher, but i decided that the webbing would be a little much for my current skill level so i modified the design a touch and this is the end result.

done mostly freehand, altho i did make use of some handheld shields cut from old soda cartons. made a couple of flubs, but i am fairly happy with the results - now to go get myself a cheap iron to heatset it!!! LOL

thanks guys. pretty proud of myself, but always room for improvement.
working with the "real" paint is a little tougher than the acrylic ink was, as is painting on fabric!!

I think you've done a very nice job here..something about it seems so pleasant..love the colored beads..There's very few things I would ever care to wear for myself but I would feel very comfortable in this jacket..you did very good!!

Brush - sorry i didnt get a chance to get to that this weekend. saturday was 12.5 hrs spent mostly in the car driving to chicago and back - what a day!
Sunday i spent most of my day resting up from the trip & finishing the jacket.
Will see if i can sneak a little painting time in this week in the evenings.

Ms Darla - Thank you so much for the kind words, means a lot to me coming from you.

geez - i am getting a big head here, better go practice some more so i can remember how much more i need to learn!!!
