Tonight I went to Walmart and went to the model section and found some gold Kolor paint and i hope i did this right I reduced it with Enamel thinner 8oz $8.95 at Hobby Lobby in Phx they did have the color I wanted there so I just left with the thinner...
Question for all the bike painters here I want the ball to look shiney so do I go back to Walmart and see if they sell clear for the airbrush or should I just buy a can of Krylon clear ? Im not sure which is better and I believe then I do fine sanding in between clear coats...
Im really interest in all the car, truck and bike painters here,I bought the airbrush equipment to one day start doing flames and I love looking at everyone airbrush work..
To the Phx Az people I hope to make it out to 3rd ave in Indian school and check out that store this week...

I would avoid trying to spray clear thru your AB.... It might work for a shifter knob but anything bigger than that I would not do... You might be better if you have to use rattle can clear..If you want to get into automotive and bikes I suggest that you avoid the whole Krylon kit asap..You need to learn how your base kolors work and how to spray you catalyzed clears...
The best way is to just start as soon as possible...Go to nearest Paint supply... I use Auto Color connection off of 59th and Glendale... Good guys and very Helpful.. ask for Edward and tell him Ron sent ya.If they are close to you. Save your ab for base coats for art work and hi-lites and some small touch ups...If you want to start doing flames get your self an old hood or find an old realty signs paint it black or white or what ever base kolor you wish and get some good 1/8" fine line tape and just start practicing you flames... Buy the green or tan kolor tape if you are just starting out... much cheaper and you will want to buy as many rolls as you can afford.. ron
