Default hp-bcs

i recently got a hp-bcs and am having a problem that its bubbling back thru the paint bottle.
something that doesnt look right is the nozzle doesnt come thru the nozzle cap. itll never create suction if it doesnt. i have a paasche millenium and it comes out past and was wondering what someone elses bcs was like.
thanks

Mine is even with the air cap. Nothing protrudes except the needle.
It should be fine if it is in that position.

If you want the egghead explanation about Bernouli's principal and laminar airflow I'll post it. But not right now I've had a few to many JD's t'nite.

this is brand new and it is actually below the opening so i dunno if its a bad nozzle or what. found a picture on iwata's web site which it actually protrudes a little.

The nozzle should protrude past the aircap a little.
