I use createx all the time, you need to heat set the shirt after painting, simple process, heat your iron as you would normally and cover the painting with plain paper, I use newsprint that you can buy at any craft store. Run your iron over the painting for a good 2-3 minutes, making sure to constanly moving so as not to burn the shirt. After that it should not wash out, they WILL fade over time though. I am sure there are more specific instructions somewhere within this site, maybe if Don sees this he can send you to the proper place, I still have a hard time finding old threads on subject matters. Good Luck.

For the best results but this is not necessary....
Get yourself Goldens GAC900, spray a dust layer on the fabric, air dry, then heat press (with iron- remove all the water, set it to the highest setting) and press as hard as you can manage for 2-3 minutes. This will put all the fuzzies on the fabric down, and have a prepared surface for you to sketch and paint.
Spray your design as you see fit, let it air dry. Or use a Blow dryer that you use on your hair.
Spray your second dusting layer of GAC900, air dry. Then heat set again. As Brushbyair stated, put something between the iron and paint. I personally use a cookie sheet I got at the grocery store and put it inside the garment, then use Parchment paper on top of the paint and then iron on HIGH, no water and press as hard as I can for 5 minutes, constantly moving the iron. Some time my designs are bigger then the paper and sheet combined, so it have to reposition those and continue.
Lastly is the care of your garment after you have done all that.
Wash in cold
don't use any bleach
turn garment inside out before you wash
hang dry the garment
if you do this the longevity of your work should last.
Hope this helps.

Re: How do you Airbrush sweaters or T-shirts.
Try turning the shirt inside out (after it is dry) and iron the oposite side of the painting.
I have been told to iron it for at least six minutes moving the iron rapidly.
It has worked for me in the past.
