Hi everyone!!
Hidey ho my artistic compadres! May I say that I've already learned a huge amount of good info from this site. I can see that there are alot of very knowledgeable and NICE people here too. I've been a housepainter for almost twenty years, the last twelve of which I've been doing lots of faux finishes (if anyone cares to see some of my work just for the fun of it you can see my website at TWhitakerpainting.com). Due to neck, back and shoulder problems I can see the writing on the wall as far as how much longer I can be doing this. I'm hoping that since I tend to be a little artistic to begin with, I'll be able to eventually do more work decorating things like bikes and musical instruments. Well that's what I'd like to do anyway.
I hope that as I learn and advance in airbrushing I'll be able to help others just as you have helped me so far!!! You'll be hearing from me more!!!
Your pal, Tim

Re: Hi everyone!!
I can see that! Sure is alot more to learn than I thought, and you know what they say about the old dog learning new tricks......
Thanks for the welcome!
Oh, I notice you're a little new to the forum as well. Are you new to airbrushing too? If so, how hard is it to learn the techniques? I have a setup on the way right now, but not in hand yet.

Hey Friend,
Yes, I am new to the airbrushing world and I must say that every project has been a blast to experience new paints, different color combinations, different texture techniques, airbursh equipment, clear coating and much more. Just remember, don't be intimidated, they will always make sandpaper! We all walk before running and you will develop much confidence and pride in your work as you learn. Just go for it! Re: Hi everyone!!
Hello and welcome from Ohio. Your at he right place and with the right people also. In a short time you will find that the info here will make you a better airhead. The work that Ive posted so far, minus Geoffrey, was done before I joined. I can look at Geoffrey and look at my other work and see a big differance to myself anyway. I owe it to this site and the masters that hang around here, practice helps to. Look forward to seeing some work, good air and no clogs to ya. Rusty.
