Hello to all,
HI my name Russ, Im a 39 year old disabled auto tech that has been battling with crohns disease for the past 24 years. It has left me with half the guts everyone else has after 10 surgeries. Anyway, Ive been playing with an airbrush on and off for a few years, make a picture or tshirt for my kids or friends one or two times a year, about every one or two years, then walk away for months or years until I pick it up again. For the last month Ive gotten into it hard core, thats because Ive finally got my studio set up and now I have a place to work on my talent and techniques both with my air brush and drawing abilities. Ive been surfing the web for a couple years watching airbrush sites and admiring all the talent wishing I could do it, time to stop admiring and just do it, ITS ONlY PAINT, right. Love to have comments on my work, the only way to get better is to improve on what people find wrong or unappealing about ones work. I love advise, its the one thing everyone has more than enough of and willing to give it away more than anything on this planet. Fantastic web site, best magazine, and great members/artist. Thank you all for being here, this has broke my shell and set me free, good air and no clogs to all.

Re: Hello to all,
Hello Russ, it's a pleasure to meet you.. There's no better time to start than now & you might decide to continue with airbrushing this time..I'm well aware how easy it is to put something on the back burner but you seem to be very committed..Airbrushing brings me a lot of pleasure & I don't doubt it will do the same for you..My first piece of advise is to learn the fundamentals--once you learn these, airbrushing becomes suprisingly easy & a whole lot of fun..Good luck to you..
