Default Greetings from Alaska!

Another NEWBIE to the board!

I'm not a professional airbrush artist like some of you..

..but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Not really..

I don't do airbrushing for a living, but have been playing around with it for about 2 years now, having a blast in my spare time!!

It's amazing how (around here anyway) when one person finds out that you airbrush (even just as a hobby), how all of a sudden everyone from the local hockey teams to the zoo need a sign or a banner or something. It's definitely a fun way to donate to the community though!

We have occassional training classes here in Anchorage, but nothing like some of the schools I've seen mentioned on the net!

I'd love to attend one of the classes in the Lower-48 (maybe when it's 20 below here.. ) so I'll have to keep an eye out for some dates and locations.

In the meantime, I'm sure glad that I stumbled across your awesome forum! I've scrolled through a few of the threads and I can't wait to look at more of them. ~~WHAT TALENT, EXPERIENCE, and KNOWLEDGE!!

First I need to figure out my way around this forum. Haven't figured out the avatar thingie yet.. and I definitely need to subscribe to the magazine!!

I hope when I start asking questions, they aren't "too" dumb. LOL!!

~~Sherry in Anchorage~~

"BIG WAVE"

Hi Sherry, Alaska is one of the few places I have always dreamed of, of course we always take what we have for granted.

Welcome to the family, I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Hey Sherry ... Nice to meet you and welcome to the forum. I got a big laugh out of your intro about staying at a Holiday Inn .... Thanks for brightening my day.

About the Avatar: If you save a picture of whatever you want to put there then go to the tab up top titled "UserCP" you should be able to figure it from there with just a little digging.

About the questions. There's no dumb question. If you ask it someone on this forum will surely know the answer. It probably won't be me but someone else will know.....

Again, welcome.....

Hi and welcome to the forum...

It has been so hot around here recently that the paint dries rapidly in the tip of my airbrush...Under these conditions, mate don't be surprized if we meet in Alaska one day...

Cheers...
